The holiday home Pri stari mami is located in the Prlekija region on the eastern side of Slovenia. On a zigzagging fairytale road between endless fields of corn, pumpkins and buckwheat, we finally reached the Pri stari mami holiday house.

We were greeted with a big smile by Andreja, who showed us around. We were overwhelmed by how beautiful the holiday house is. There is a lovely meadow behind the house where we could play with the children and treat our taste buds with delicious figs. But as for the interior, it’s a fairytale combination.

The newly renovated and decorated wooden holiday house Pri stari mami has a special luxurious touch with modern amenities and historic character.

The house Pri stari mami, which can accommodate 2-5 people, consists of a ground floor with a spacious living room (with flat screen TV, cozy sofa and fireplace) combined with a well-equipped modern kitchen (induction stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kitchen utensils). A bright and tastefully furnished bathroom with shower, bathtub, washbasin, toilet and washing machine is located in the immediate vicinity of the relaxing room with sauna. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor to a large open bedroom with two double beds on one side and two reading corners on the other, both connected by a wooden corridor leading over spacious living room. The bedroom has access to the balcony (the sunsets from here are breathtaking).

A special welcome basket of local products (pumpkin seeds, biscuits, pumpkin seed oil, spreads, jam) awaited us, as well as mineral water, juice, sparkling wine and local wine chilled in the fridge. Near the house there is a store with local products, which also serves as a tourist information point. Do not hesitate to visit it and find some interesting things.

From the holiday house Pri stari mami you can easily explore the entire Pomurje region. We took part in the Bograc festival in Lendava, admired endless pumpkin fields, spent some time at the Lendava thermal spa and rested by the Sobosko jezero lake.

The Pri stari mami holiday house is a beautifully renovated house with a modern touch in the countryside, perfect for recharging the batteries and certainly one of the best starting points for exploring the Pomurje region.
