In the morning we took a bus from Bovec to Tarvisio. From the main bus station, we started hiking along the path, which is actually a cycling-hiking route to the Slovenian-Italian border at Rateče. There were many cyclists on the way. Along the way, we had the opportunity to taste raspberries and pick mushrooms. The day was sunny, so we made a detour to the Lagi di Fusine as well, where we admired the emerald green water and rested a little under the trees. The trail passes through lovely villages of Rateče and Podkroren and the Zelenci natural reserve is a must stop before arriving at Kranjska Gora.
