Goricke Ize Boutique Houses is a small pearl located in the pristine nature among the forests and rugged hills in the Pomurje region, more precisely in the Goricko region. It takes 25 minutes from Murska Sobota to reach this eco-friendly oasis, where each house in the complex is unique and full of character. It is a paradise not only for adults, but for kids as well. Welcome to explore Goricke ize.

We were warmly welcomed by Sara and Urska, who offered us a glass of delicious apple juice. It was really refreshing after a long journey. Then they showed us the complex, which consists of four renovated houses typical for the Goričko region (Indasnja iza, velbana iza, hemp iza, konopkana iza), as well as an outdoor pool, a barn (suitable for weddings, conferences, meetings), a sauna and a hot tube. Iza in Prekmurje dialect means a house.

We stayed in Indasnja iza, a traditional house in Prekmurje, renovated with natural materials. Indasnja iza house is super clean and very spacious. It has kept its original rustic charm and can accommodate up to 7 people. A wooden ladder leads to the attic with enough space to accommodate 3 people (a double bed and an extra bed). On the first floor there is a room with a double bed and a very special shelf with fairy tales books from our childhood, a beautifully decorated bathroom with shower, a living room with two twin beds (authentic antique furniture!), a fully equipped kitchen with oven, refrigerator, ceramic hob and a covered terrace with chairs and benches. We were impressed by the beauty and tranquility of the area.

During our stay at Goricke Ize Boutique Houses, we enjoyed the summer vibes while swimming in the outdoor pool, sipping a glass of wine under the stars and listening to the birds singing in the morning. It is really a perfect escape when you need to recharge your batteries and get a good night’s sleep in the Slovenian countryside.
