Alpaka Land is a guest ranch near Slovenj Gradec, where everything revolves around alpakas. They offer various alpaca experiences: Picnic with alpakas, yoga with alpakas, laughing yoga with alpakas, romantic picnic with alpakas, sound therapy with alpakas, hands-on activities with alpakas.

Tajda welcomed us and led us to the alpaka paradise, where Enzo, the oldest alpaka and the boss of the other alpakas, was the first alpaka we met and fed. Later we also got to know the other 3 alpakas: Čarli, Kongo and Polo. Each of them with its own character, but all of them very gentle, nice and curious. At first, they all approached slowly and stared at us curiously, but they were more than happy when we fed them. Čarli was so happy that he started giving a kiss after kiss, while Kongo and Polo were more than happy to pose for a selfie.

Alpakas are very sociable animals that like people. We really felt very comfortable in their company while we treated ourselves to a two-hour picnic experience with alpakas. The picnic takes place under the treetop by a small stream. There are many spots where you can enjoy your picnic to the fullest. You can either sit on a picnic blanket, swing on a hammock or lie on a sunbed. What is more, picnic basket contains cheese, salami, bread, spreads, bread and other mouth-watering local delicacies.

A picnic with alpakas is a great experience for the whole family. You will definitely remember it for a long time to come.
