The Cukarca Adventure and recreational park near Ivancna Gorica is a huge playground for children (and their parents, of course), consisting of an adrenaline park, bike park, climbing walls, Bobi’s learning path and the Cukarca beach amidst the trees.

It’s is a perfect getaway for the whole family.

We visited the Cukarca Adventure and recreational park on the opening day of 2025 season, so the bike park with pump track and climbing walls was not yet open. However, in the bike park, bikers can test their skills on the three tracks (Smoothie, Hillbilly, Dirt Park) with a length of 3 kilometers. There are also two 10-meter-high climbing walls in the forest, which are perfect for beginners and advanced climbers.

However, we spent more than 3 hours in the adrenaline park. Before entering the adrenaline park, which consists of 7 different courses with different heights and adrenaline levels, we are provided with the equipment and all the necessary information by the instructors. The Saferoller safety system is available on all courses, so you can simply let the children enjoy the adrenaline themselves. Filip really enjoyed the yellow trail, he didn’t want to take a break though he was tired, while I could often spot Lucija on the ziplines amidst the trees.

It was hard to leave the Cukarca Adventure and recreational park without children’s’ complaining, so we spent some time playing games and exploring the 470-meter-long Bobi’s circular learning path where we got to see 35 different wooden animal structures and learnt a lot about the animals.
