The confluence of Soca river and its tributary Gljun was chosen for the final scenes of the film where 300 soldiers run over 60 meters long Beruna wooden bridge. Nowadays instead of the soldiers, you can spot between April and October many rafting boats and kayaks.

Hundreds of people from film industry “occupied” Bovec area in the summer 2007 and all accommodations were fully booked. The filming location was heavily guarded and only those who were involved in the filming had permission to enter the location. The air space above Bovec was closed as well.
