Apartments Čenda Experience

Apartments Čenda Experience

Apartments Čenda are located in Davča, the largest village in Slovenia by area. A steep, narrow zigzag road led to the apartments, which are situated only 200 metres from the Cerkno ski resort.

It was late in the afternoon, very cold and foggy. We were greeted by Danica, who welcomed us with homemade liqueurs and invited us into the Blegoš apartment, which can accommodate up to seven people. Inside, the apartment was very warm, while outside it was raining dogs and cats. The apartment is modern, comfortable, fully equipped, and offers everything you need for your holiday. There is a children’s playground and an outdoor terrace overlooking meadows, which turn into ski slopes in winter. Perfect ski-to-door access.

On the first floor of the Blegoš apartment, there is a well-equipped kitchen (induction stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, kitchen utensils, hand-picked herbal tea) connected to a dining room with a large wooden table. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a spotless bathroom with a shower and toilet. Steep staircases lead to the second floor, which has two bedrooms: one with two single beds, the other with a double bed and a single bed. Both rooms offer views of the ski slope area. As the accommodation is at 1,100 metres, the views are spectacular.

You can easily explore the entire Škofja Loka region, Soča Valley, Idrija, and Lake Bled from the apartment. Although the weather was not on our side, we decided to visit Davča Waterfall, stroll around Železniki town (we actually spent more than an hour playing chess in the main square!), observe farm animals and pets on the farm, and admire the family business in wood engraving.

Apartment Čenda, surrounded by meadows and hills, is a perfect family weekend getaway amidst nature, offering beautiful views over the hills and mountains.
